Reflection
I found that Tiffany's responses were quite short and although she wasn't shy or guarded, I had to ask very specific questions to get the information I wanted. At first I felt that this was a bit of a struggle but in planning for my final piece I realised that I just have to take her answers as a starting point and brainstorm from them. Additionally, she is interested in quite different literature and writing to me which meant we didn't connect so much about our practice or favourite authors. However, I learnt to take this as a positive as I got to learn things I would not have otherwise. I was quite nervous before my interview because I wanted it to go well, however as the interview went on I realised I didn't really have strong expectations on what a 'good' interview meant and just let it happen.
